🎯 Indications

• • Treatment of acute diarrhea in adults and children aged 2 years and above, in addition to oral rehydration (ORS)
  • Symptomatic treatment of chronic functional diarrhea in adults
  • Symptomatic relief of pain associated with functional bowel diseases in adults

🎯 适应症

• • 用于成人及 2 岁以上儿童急性腹泻的治疗，需配合口服补液盐（ORS）
  • 成人慢性功能性腹泻的症状性治疗
  • 成人功能性肠道疾病相关腹痛的缓解

💊 Dosage

• • Children ≥2 years: 4 sachets daily for 3 days, then 2 sachets daily for 4 days
  • Adults: Average 3 sachets daily for 7 days; dose may be doubled at treatment start

• • 2 岁以上儿童：每日 4 包，连服 3 天；随后每日 2 包，连服 4 天
  • 成人：平均每日 3 包，疗程 7 天；治疗初期可根据情况加倍剂量

• • Empty the entire sachet into 50 ml of water
  • Stir thoroughly until fully dissolved
  • Drink immediately after preparation

🔄 Drug Interactions

• • Due to its adsorbent properties, Smecta® may reduce the absorption of other medicines. It is recommended to administer other drugs at least 2 hours apart.

• • Infants and children below 2 years
  • Pregnancy and lactation
  • Hypersensitivity to diosmectite or any excipients

⚠️ Caution

• • Overdose may lead to severe constipation, vomiting or bezoar
  • Use with caution in patients with severe chronic constipation
  • In children above 2 years, acute diarrhea should always be treated together with oral rehydration solution (ORS)
