Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief Gentle Repair 110g

Description

Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief Gentle Repair is a specialized toothpaste that provides a dual-action solution for sensitive teeth and gum health. Utilizing the dentist-exclusive Pro-Argin Technology, it addresses the root cause of sensitivity by sealing the open channels (tubules) that lead to the tooth’s nerves. The “Gentle Repair” formula is specifically enhanced to help repair sensitive areas of the teeth and soothe the gums, making it an excellent choice for those whose sensitivity is linked to early gum recession.

📌 Benefits

• Instant Sensitivity Relief: Provides immediate relief when applied directly to the sensitive tooth and massaged for one minute.

• Tubule Sealing Technology: Unlike numbing toothpastes, it plugs the microscopic tubules to block pain triggers from cold, heat, or sugar.

• Gum Health Support: Helps to repair sensitive areas and contains agents that soothe the gum line to prevent further recession.

• Long-Lasting Barrier: With regular use, it builds a durable mineral-rich layer that acts like a seal against recurring sensitivity.

• Gentle Cleaning: Formulated with a low-abrasion paste to ensure that sensitive enamel and exposed dentin are cleaned without further wear.

• Cavity Protection: Includes fluoride to strengthen the teeth and protect against tooth decay.

📌 Suitable For

• Exposed Dentin: Ideal for individuals experiencing sharp pain due to receding gums or enamel erosion.

• Sore or Tender Gums: Specifically designed for those who need a gentle formula that supports gum tissue health.

• Post-Dental Treatment: Often recommended for use after professional cleaning or whitening treatments that can trigger temporary sensitivity.

📌 Main Ingredients

• Arginine (8%): An amino acid that works with calcium to create a natural seal over sensitive dental tubules.

• Calcium Carbonate: Helps to form the protective “plug” that blocks external stimuli from reaching the nerves.

• Sodium Monofluorophosphate (1450 ppm): The active fluoride source used to remineralize enamel and prevent cavities.

• Humectants: Keep the paste smooth and prevent the mouth from feeling dry during and after brushing.

📌 Directions for Use

• For Instant Relief: Apply the toothpaste directly to the sensitive tooth with a clean fingertip and massage gently for one minute.

• Daily Maintenance: Brush thoroughly at least twice a day. Ensure you spend enough time on the sensitive areas along the gum line.

• Rinsing: Spit out after brushing. For best results, avoid rinsing with excessive water immediately to allow the Pro-Argin seal to set.

• ⚠️ Age Warning: Children 6 years and under should use only a pea-sized amount under adult supervision.

• Precautions: If sensitivity persists or worsens, consult a dentist as it may indicate a deeper dental issue.

• Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Keep the cap closed to maintain the formula’s effectiveness.
