Smecta Orange-Vanilla Sachets 3G is a powder for oral suspension presented in soft, flat sachets. Each box contains 12 sachets. The powder appears greyish-white to ochre in colour and releases a mild orange aroma when mixed with water.

🎯 Indications

• • Treatment of acute diarrhea in adults and children above 2 years (in addition to oral rehydration)
  • Symptomatic treatment of chronic functional diarrhea in adults
  • Symptomatic relief of pain associated with functional bowel disorders in adults

💊 Dosage

• • Children ≥2 years: 4 sachets daily for 3 days, then 2 sachets daily for 4 days
  • Adults: Average 3 sachets daily for 7 days; dose may be doubled at treatment start

• • Empty the entire sachet into 50 ml of water
  • Stir thoroughly until fully dissolved
  • Drink immediately after preparation

🔄 Drug Interactions

• • Due to its adsorbent properties, Smecta® may reduce the absorption of other medicines. It is recommended to administer other drugs at least 2 hours apart.

⚠️ Caution

• • Overdose may lead to severe constipation, vomiting or bezoar
  • Use with caution in patients with severe chronic constipation
